Salem Barnes

Salem Barnes is the sire of the Head Vampire of the Barony bloodline. Being what is called a higher vampire, Salem can appear human if desired. In life he was deserter from the American Army in the Battle of Belleau Wood, who was turned by Guinevere. Salem has taken a liking to Scarlet. Whether or not his true intentions are to betray his master and find some semblance of humanity remains uncertain, for although he’s expressed his agony of being a monster, he struggles with overcoming cowardice. He assisted Scarlet and her fellow hunters, Javier, Phillipe, Esmeralda, Raffi, and Brian, in infiltrating THe Rhaspody Hotel, the lair of the vampires in Los Angeles. Though he set the hunters on the right path to eliminate Head vampire of the Ottomar clan, he alerted his own master of the coming danger, and she left long before the hunters arrived. his current whereabouts are unknown.
