Aarman was the first emperor who ruled after Zan's death. He expanded the empire slightly before putting all his efforts into religious conversion and assimilation.

He was Zan's closest friend, as she wouldn't speak as freely with anyone else, not even with her own wives. He was so influent during her rule he could even have been considered as another kind of ruler, kinda like an adviser with a strong role. After her death, in 12264, he was chosen to rule the country. He was 75 at the time. He was then the emperor during 17 years. One day before he died, he gathered 6 government members in his bedroom, and after four hours, the 6 government members left the bedroom with a complete constitution. Nobody knows how that happened, but it happened. They had started at 8pm and finished at midnight. And at 6am the next day, Aarman was found dead in his bed.
