1000 Year Dream

The Ark, an ancient spacecraft incapable of light-speed travel has been adrift in the void of space for the last 1000 years. The passengers aboard The Ark have been cryogenic-ally frozen for the entire duration of its voyage, and the ship itself has been maintained by automated machinery. However, the Allied Galactic Federation (AGF) has discovered The Ark stranded at the very edge of the known universe. 1000 years have passed, but is the future everything the denizens of The Ark hoped it would be?   The history of The Ark itself is troubled and it's very creation was an insult to it's designer, who never desired for it to be made at all. Alluriana Jaeger was a child prodigy and the comprehensive mastermind behind The Ark's cryogenic stasis technology, but The Ark itself was constructed without her knowledge or consent. Her groundbreaking advancements in cryo-stasis technology were initially ignored and mocked by her father, but he viciously abused her designs when it seemed they could be used to fuel his messianic delusions.
