Midnight's Journal: "The World Changes"

"Liminal is gone. There is no other way to really put it. Worlds collapsed into themselves and formed something new. We've trapped ourselves in a shield to try and keep ourselves safe from what was coming and it seemed to work. How did we get here though?"
 
"Tea attacked the Word Tree we worked so hard to protect and then attacked the Silver Thimble where two new Word Trees had sprouted. I don't understand her reasonings. Was she trying to prevent what occurred or did she cause it? Either way she has made one thing utterly clear to me. She is a fool."
 
"Blaming the crew for everything that was happening? Claiming that we should know what was occurring? I'm getting very much tired of that bullshit kind of thinking. Take some real fucking responsibility. This crew is not perfect, but give them the opportunity to learn, they will learn. However, leaving some random book around and then not sticking around? That isn't warning of jack shit. I know I for one never got to see the book, and how would we know to trust it? What if we had questions? What if there were things that didn't add up? Dumping something on us and running is not a warning or teaching. It is the act of a pompous arrogant jackass who doesn't want to actually put in any real effort."
 
"The Librarian is the biggest evidence of this. Who other than the crew was actually pursuing that monster? Working to put a stop to him? Most of the universe didn't even know of his existence. Yet you come in here after we give everything we have to stop him and its not good enough? You can kindly fuck all the way off. We did what you would not and we have to deal with the resulting nonsense while you sit in your high perch all pretty, thinking of everyone else as children rather than taking one minute. One single moment to actually SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
 
"No one we run into seems capable of that basic decency. They just assume we should know, like there is some kind of magic force that should be planted into our minds. And frankly? I've grown tired of it... I won't tolerate that kind of nonsense anymore. One way or the other, I will make them speak, even if it is at the point of my blade. Until then, our situation is rough. Food rationing, being cut off from supplies... we've got a lot of work to do in our new home. Guess I might actually get the chance to do some real hunting again."
