Speedtrap's Gang

One of the most confusing and frustrating groups of supers in Millenium City, and one that managed to confound the Champions before the Vanishing, is a group known as 'Speedtrap's Gang'. They're a focused cape group, and their crimes tend to hinge around those that are taking place at high speeds or that involve the rapid transport of goods.
 
Speedtrap: The leader of the group. Speedtrap is a burly Afro-Caribbean man, and somewhat overly muscular due to the fact that his power focuses on gravity manipulation and he uses it 'push' on his body to build muscle. Born Jameson Finch Dickens in Haiti, Speedtrap became a criminal mostly due to a series of poor encounters with police due to the racism built into the system. His power allows him to become something of a black hole, pulling things toward himself at an incredible speed. He can do this across an entire area or affect certain targets. When activated, his power grants him a tremendous amount of armor against the subjects of his power, so in effect he becomes an immovable pillar in front of a speeding truck. Speedtrap knows the city, from the towers to the tunnels, very well and knows the best places to rob moving vehicles in order to make a clean getaway. If he could be turned to the heroes' side, he'd be invaluable.
 
Skidmark: Skidmark is an annoying little shit. Evan Glenn Jennings is a skinny, short Caucasian male, and even among the Gang, he has no real friends or romantic prospects, but at least these people don't actively hate him the way everyone else does. He always seems sick, unwashed, and kind of gross, and he has a habit of saying the precisely wrong thing at the wrong time. He's just sort of backwards. Skidmark's ability allows him to place 'directional movement amplification arrays' (or 'Skidmarks') on the ground. If someone moves in the direction of the skidmark, they'll speed up, sometimes in a manner that's violently out of control. If they're moving in the opposite direction, they tend to be shot backwards at breakneck speed, usually to their own detriment. His power pairs well with Speedtraps, allowing him to launch targets into the larger man. He hates Wideload, violently hates him, both due to the fact that Wideload was something of a bully towards him and because Wideload then betrayed everyone by going clean.
 
Speedrun: Speedrun is often the odd woman out among the Gang, mostly because she doesn't really seem to have the same 'need' to be a criminal that the rest of them do. The Gang was just the first group of people to ever really be nice to her, so she joined up. Heseffra Washington is a Black woman born in Millenium City, but had only ever lived in the slums when she was growing up. Her power allows her to greatly boost her ability to do practically anything, but she can only assist two skills at once, and only for a limited amount of time. As she boosts, her skills start out fantastic, as if she were an expert in the field, and get worse and worse until she ends up less skilled than she was at the start. She has to wait for twice as long as she was using that particular boosted skill before trying again, so she tends to be big on planning and deliberation to get a good sense of what she'll need to do and when.
 
Silver: As in 'Hi-ho!' Silver claims to be a fairy from a fey realm, but Speedtrap says that's all just made up crap from someone who doesn't want anyone to know where he came from. There is a slight point to the ears and the cheekbones are a bit too angular, though. Silver's got a good affinity with horses, like really, really good, and can summon these ghostly, ghastly-looking argent horses that are capable of running or walking on air. They can can make about seven of them, given the need. These horses glow faintly and can carry a rider, but they're otherwise insubstantial so they can't provide cover or shielding. However, Wideload's seen Silver send the group through someone, once, and he's pretty sure that guy aged a dozen years and had a heart attack. While Wideload served as logistics and ground transport for the group, Millenium City is a city of towers, so if they needed to get up top, they used Silver.
