A Romp Around Murray

by Romenor Lathalis

Thrazmoc is something else. I'm not sure if its my own biases or if I just have a predisposition against warriors but I found myself continually surprised by his abilities. To come up with such an incredible distraction at the drop of the hat, have the pull with the seaman, and luck to not get caught is nothing but amazing. And Gwenmyla has thoroughly removed any image I previously had of how a princess might act. She certainly was able to hold her own in their game. I do wish that I could have participated as it looked like a joy. I'm fairly certain though that my luck would run it's course and my quick feet wouldn't be enough to keep me unharmed. Only takes a loose patch of gravel for me to not dodge out of the way and end up with a broken rib or two. Maybe if Danis joined in I wouldn't be at such a disadvantage against the dwarves.

The plan went off without a hitch. Although I may not care much for Gwendylen I can certainly see some of her skill. To follow in Danis steps without getting caught must be extremely challenging. I couldn't see inside but hopefully my invisibility on her made a difference. No matter what happened inside, they did come back out without causing too much of a ruckus so that certainly counts as a successful operation. What they found was concerning though. This CERN organization has a lot of power to do business with several guilds without the Master of Coin finding out. I can't imagine the challenge of pulling something like that off without even one person tipping him off. Something to think on further but as for now I will leave the action of further investigation to Rowan.

I do hope that Riggu takes the job. The Woodcutters District needs a compassionate touch right now. The guild is functional but there is no life there in its current state. A man who fights against poverty at his own expense while still remaining in business is the perfect person for the job, and also someone who may have no desire to hold a leadership position unfortunately. From the little time we have spent with him I'm not certain to what Riggu will decide. Maybe we will stop by in a few days and see how he's doing.
