Paris. A man can make a name for himself in a city like this, and there are no other cities like this. But how can a man with no name and modest means begin to find his place among the lords and ladies of Paris? To mingle with the upper crust of Paris society a man must dress like them, drink like them, woo like them and fight like them. But all of that requires coin. My first stop must be to a Shylock to secure the means to fuel my ambition until a benefactor can be secured. Enlist in a regiment with a reputation for valor, flatter the right people, and the rest shall fall into place.
