He has made it his aim in life to track down demons, evil forces of chaos and any who aid them in the belief that this will vanquish his inner demon once and for all.
He learned of the ways of Tempus from a fellow mercenary and now follows his beliefs that battle should be fair and honourable. He does not suffer fools but has been known to spare the life of an opponent if Ulatir felt he had an unfair advantage over that opponent. However, he shows no quarter in a battle otherwise and ruthlessly dispatches his enemies.
Ulatir now sees himself as having several purposes in life, to destroy demons, to forge himself a place in history and society as a great war leader and perhaps, one day, to return to his family in Neverwinter and take his place as head of the family.

Personal history
Ulatir was brought up in a good, comfortably well-off family of Aasimar who kept their race hidden from those around them in the city of Neverwinter.
Ulatir remembers little of his childhood now and has only faint memories of his guide in early whispers and dreams, Ulatir was possessed by a Fiend, as a small child, conjured by a foolish wizard in Neverwinter which escaped from its binding circle. It was not a powerful demon and may have been little more than an evil imp but to a child it was terrifying. It whispered to Ulatir and sent him dark thoughts. Ulatir turned in upon himself and ignored the advice of his guide and family, running away in his early teens before the imp could make him hurt someone. He learned fast how to look after himself and learned the ways of war as part of a mercenary band in the Neverwinter Woods as a teenager. He grew strong and had a reputation for being fierce in battle against bandits and goblin raiding parties.
However, for all the demonic whisperings, his evil thoughts and his fall from grace, Ulatir remained focused on the need for good to triumph over evil. He has made it his aim in life to track down demons, evil forces of chaos and any who aid them in the belief that this will vanquish his inner demon once and for all.
Ulatir now sees himself as having several purposes in life, to destroy demons, to forge himself a place in history and society as a great war leader and perhaps, one day, to return to his family in Neverwinter and take his place as head of the family.
Ulatir now senses the coming darkness and hears the whisperer in his dreams talking gleefully of impending disaster, he is ready for battle as always!

Personality
Virtues & Personality perks
Those who look into my eyes can see that I have faced unimaginable horror and that I am no stranger to darkness. Unless I have shown myself to be a danger to them, they will even take up arms to fight with me, should I find myself facing an enemy alone.
Vices & Personality flaws
I feel no compassion for the dead. They're the lucky ones.
