Personal history

Harking from the Spring Kingdom originally, Aphid is the youngest in the Tarkein family of the Lukot clan. This would usually have excluded him from being chosen as the new Secret Guardian and Lukot Heir, but he was the only one amongst his siblings to show a connection to magic, making him the only one his Grandmother could choose. As he reached the end of his childhood, Aphid made the hasty decision to flee from the growing pressure of the role he's spent his life preparing for, and ended up in the Summer Kingdom.
Since meeting the rest of the North Wind, Aphid's magical prowess and sense of self have been improving quickly. Although the longer he spends away from home, the more he feels guilt for leaving in the first place.

Aphid wants to experience freedom before he goes back home, and help other people feel free from their burdens as best he can.

Family Ties

The Lukot family are the owners of a fairly well-known chain of clothing stores, aptly titled Lukot Tailors and Apparel. 

Religious Views

Aphid worships the Spring Goddess, although it's more of a habitual worship than direct service.
His family focuses their worship specifically on the Mouse God, Ninkilim, who is more of a myth, but is believed to be the source of their magic and intelligence.
