He started as a street rat because he was thrown out for his red eyes and made his way through life by stealing and inventing small bobbles and then selling them at the age of 16 he was found and imprisoned. He was supposed to be in there for 8 years but he escaped in 4 years. After that at the age of 20 he joiend a pirate crew and has been sailing with them for four years.
