Appearance
Physical Description
Short, thickly built and muscular. Definitely looks like she packs a mean punch. Don't let her height fool you! Has a swimmer's body and a whole lot of upper body strength.
Body Features
Has mink ears and a tail in a mix of white and black fur (the coat is called stardust). A few scars from her adventures over the years, the most prominent of which are two slash marks on the left side of her torso. She's got a few tattoos, the most notable being a large back piece featuring a trident flanked by marlins-- the symbols of Gi-Harahabi. She's also got the character for "freedom" on her neck (behind where a non-Anima's ear would be) and rumor has it she has an octopus on her lower back but she will neither confirm nor deny this.
Facial Features
Fairly round-faced and without much prominent bone structure, she isn't the most intimidating ship captain in the world but her looks make her rather charming. Her eyes are a honey-brown and her teeth feature sets of sharp fangs. She has the blue marks of Gi-Harahabi painted onto her face at all times, as is typical for the Loyal of Harahabi.
Identifying Characteristics
Her mink ears and tail, which have a unique coloration known as Stardust.
Apparel & Accessories
Wears a halter top in the style of her homeland of Harabati along with a more typical pair of breeches, a tattered blue coat, and a pair of black boots. Wears several earrings on her ears, as well as a belly button ring. Occasionally wears a tricorne hat with a large feather in it. Swears she did not take the feather from Saffron.

Personal history
There's not much to say about Arinka's old life-- if she wanted to talk about it, she wouldn't have let that life die in the sea the night she left. The woman that she became after coming to Berianti and taking her new name however, that's another thing entirely.
It was six long years ago that the crew of the ship Siren's Thunder happened upon a woman passed out in a sailing dinghy starved half to death, floating aimlessly near the Origin Islands. Assuming she'd left in hoped of a new life, the crew took her aboard their ship and their doctor, Neri, nursed her back to health. She quickly befriended the crew, and upon learning that the Nationless were real she was more than eager to join their ranks. They taught her about their life, society, codes, and promised to take her to the island of Berianti, where they were headed to themselves on their way back from a voyage. The moment she set foot on that dock and took in the sight of the city, she finally felt like she was where she belonged after 19 years of being out of place in her own home. Any regret she had faded away and she was reborn as Arinka... and she had a lot of work to do if she was gonna make her way.
With very little money and not much more than the clothes on her back and a few altar pieces, Arinka got straight to work. Her friendship with the crew of Siren's Thunder did get her a few more ins than she may have had without it, and she began working all sorts of jobs-- typically mercenary work and extra crew on the various ships sailing short voyages. She settled into life on Berianti quite nicely, but she wanted more-- she wanted her own ship, a crew to call her own and sail around finding treasures and sights that no one had ever seen. What's the point of a legend if you don't go seek it out yourself after all?
Finally, her hard work is beginning to pay off. With Lazuli's Anchor and her crew, Arinka begins her journey across Gi-Harahabi's ocean, aiming to discover all of its mysteries and secrets as she goes. Ever insatiable, her thirst for adventure only grows stronger as she prepares to set out on her first voyage as captain.
Employment
Has been known to take a lot of odd jobs around Berianti, mainly as a sellsword or deckhand but she often takes what she can get. Now she has a far more permanent position as the captain of Lazuli's Anchor.
