Session 022: The Amazon Castle Report

General Summary

The Chosen of the Oracle left The Amazon prison & interrogated their prisoners on the Ultros.   They got information about the layout & Wards.   After a lengthy planning session they took off & teleported in.   They found the Queen's & took them on.   They merged into a Greater Medusa & lost to the Chosen.   Darien & Moxena took the throne. To rule as sister-wife-Queen's.   They offered an Oath of peace to Theron & he accepted.   The Chosen got back to the Ultros & began to discuss their next move when the Ultros lurched forward, as John had made a deal with Bullbug to set off to the Garden of Helios next. He was tired of waiting for his turn. He needed vengeance against the Dragon that killed his village.   Three days passed as the Chosen discussed things. They realized that they were becoming a new order of the Dragonlords. They had the Mithral Mines for ore & smithing. Nothing for training or selecting new members.   They discussed roles within the organization: There needs to be a leader, a single character who is the voice & face of the brotherhood. None of the Chosen have stepped forward to do this.  

1. They have an underwater Dragonlord, Pyra, who could train in that environment or martially.
2. They have a "blackstaff" Dragonlord, one responsible for putting down those who go against the Oaths &/or the order of the Dragonlords, John.
3. One to learn lore, train with Arcane, Euadne.
4. Hulgnir has the Mithral Mines, he is oathbound to not worship his gods in Thylea limiting him, though he could train others in religion, & healing.
5. Oren has the Ultros, how can the Chosen use that?

The Chosen discussed potential recruits:

• Colbey, & Aurak seemed to be favoured for their work ethics.
• The Chosen have 2 captains, & followers they could interview to see if they have any more Dragonlords.
• There is Ollidak's old crew members (5)
• Freed prisoners from Exiles Island.
• Freed Lizardfolk.
• Steros & Bront
• Loreus
• Circe
• Jason
• Bastion
• Bullbug

Theron has placed the rightful heir onto the throne.   John has set course for the Garden of Helios, both he & Hulgnir have business there.

To stay out of each other's affairs, not undermine each other directly, or indirectly.   We shall allow thy cousin & sister to go with you & treat you with respect, so long as they are given positions suited to women of their nature. One mayor, the other Steward to your stronghold.   Themis will fund & supply the workers for your stronghold in the town your fame founded.   You shall send to us two recruits every year to Themis.   Your sister & cousin to return at the end of the Oath."   Theron attempted to inject gender equality, into Amazon society.
