Chapter 1: A Little Planet Called Lislow Report

General Summary

IN THE BEGINNING

After leaving the intergalactic diner, the tourists found their way to the Lis System, with little knowledge of where to actually go. Sigmund The Scavenger forged their I.D. papers while Ilya had an enlightening and existential conversation with BardBot about her people and Tedrinious Bartholomew got his shoe rocket back from Stratos Ohm , Nathiri adopted a new persona and Stratos repaired his mechanical bird.

After gathering in the bridge and listening to a corrupted Engram Audio File, provided by BardBot, warning them of the dangers of Lislow, but also enlightening them to the history and possibilities. With much debate about their options of either weathering the storms above New Talthoria, a possible quarantine within Lakevale, or Sun'seir which had dubious implications. The group decided on a course of action and directed BardBot to land them on the latter, which it did with no issue. As they passed through customs, they chose to enter the city, meeting the Holy Paladins of Nochar, a unit of the 3rd Regiment they were given entry into the Adventurer City.

BUT THEN

Immediately the Tourists noticed that the city seemed very off and under some sort of heavy influence, making the inhabitants hyper-vigilant, hive-mind-esqe and violent. They went to eat at a local and highly recommended tavern, the Piqul, and were greatly disturbed by the union and robotic replies, answers, and reactions. Yara Daughter of Krug attempted to communicate with the spirit of the city but was overtaken by pain, visions of destroying undead and evil creatures, and feelings of great despair and desperation and Ilya Crosspoint noticed that a couple of the local patrons seemed less than effected by the weird place and were watching them before leaving and disappearing.

AND SO

Realizing that there was some sort of imminent threat they tried to teleport out, only to find they were locked within the city and forcibly teleported to the Paladin Temple where a large golden armored paladin was giving a desperate speech. Before they could do much, darkness fell over the city.

Manic Panic and Constant Vigilance to Nathiri , for her possibly well-placed panic for voices and influences in her head, and knowing that honestly, it's probably a trap, and if it's not... probably not worth it.
Taste of The Good Stuff To Tedrinious Bartholomew, for a perfect roll on the perfect use for the first taste of his god powers on Lislow. By dropping a comrade through the floor for questionable reasoning.
Yara, I've Got A Feeling We're Not In Automatae Anymore to Yara Daughter of Krug, for not quite knowing how or why there are where they are, but this place certainly is loud, and noisy and ain't no Automatae.
Tourist, But No Longer The Guide to Ilya Crosspoint, for now, that we are no longer on her home planet, she is the one who gets to be awestruck and/or confused, and she was. With grace and mild confusion. And curiosity that is definitely enough to kill a cat. Hopefully not enough for her.
Honestly, I Kind Of Asked For This, But I'm Still Surprised It Happened to Stratos Ohm for both in and out of character both doing and pointing out this that was not really in his benefit and having a shocked Pikachu face when it went sideways.
Bad Boy Gone Good? to Sigmund The Scavenger for taking the slightest prodding of being calm and good and not breaking the law to heart and not stealing anything for the whole 4-hour session. EDIT: wait nvm he stole all the silverware at the end -almost a whole session
I May Or May Not Have A Bad Feeling About Something That Could Possibly Be Relaed To This to Muspella Stumpton for technically being at fault by assocition in the 3rd degree, but also not knowing enough of whats going on to know what to be uneasy about first, so going with the best solution of drinking and/or hitting (on) things.
