Feral Souls

A Homebrew / In Development game In the world of Planescape: Aftermath
| Looking for Players
Set in future post-apocalyptic Planescape. Entirely homebrewed from AD&D sources and run with a modified D&D5e system.   Long years ago, the all but forgotten Living Gate, the same portal disturbed by the Great Three to the detriment of the known planes, was awakened. Yawning after ages of slumber it vomited forth all manner of aberrent creatures. They flooded through, destroying, consuming and corrupting all in thier path. The unspeakably old, impossibly evil intelligences from beyond writhed and wormed thier way through heralding the end of days. All other wars seemed petty compared to the swiftly rolling miasma from the Far Realm. Long prophesied and foretold, the planes teetered on the brink of collapse. Just as the Outer Gods shrieked in exhultation, the Living Gate was sundered, the flow of madness ended and once more the Realms were parted. Centuries later the Planes still reel from the conflict, the balance ever in flux. Creatures from beyond linger still, and the Gods remain silent and aloof. Unable to make their way to their final resting place, petitioners find themselves adrift until one day, they find the path or oblivion. What was once called The Plane of Concordant Opposition in the younger days, by slang as the Outlands is now unrecognizable. A shattered plane of quivering ruins stretches in all directions and spills over through the streets of the gate towns, and through the gates. Particularly violated areas became to be known as Tumbles and soon was used as the name for the entire plane.   Players may take the role of a new petitioner still dazed and confused in an alien landscape, as Planetouched natives of the planes, or as a Clueless from the Prime Material.
