The Acorn and the Stone

General Summary

With great bravado, the Wayfinders decided to look for Starset Lake. They stopped by Tinkerer's and Travelers to talk to Mig Travers about his involvement with Wanderer's Guide to Arhor'ha. After some talking with Elara Dwin'annia he admitted he was there, but the journey was very personal and it did not go well. He wished to prevent similar heartbreak with another follower of Celestian, but knew he couldn't stop them even if he wanted. Instead he gave the group a job to record the memories of their locations and travels with a small glass orb. Each memory would be paid for upon return so he can see the world now that his body doesn't allow him to do so as easily as before.   Before leaving Verde , Gabriel Locktick spotted a white owl watching them. Upon inspection the owl was gone, but left a single white feather in the north eastern direction they were going. Seeing this as a good omen, the party proceeded with fresh provisions and some healing potions put on credit.   The first night in the woods reminded the party how poorly versed they were to wilderness travel. Cassandre Avon attempted to forage berries, not knowing if they were safe to eat, and in the process took a small acorn elemental. Startled by it being startled, Elara Dwin'annia whacked it into the ground with her staff. Another rock elemental came to retrieve his friend, causing a great deal of comedic behavior until dawn. Tracking down where the rock and acorn went, the party found them in a rocky grove that animated and started to put them on trial for assault and kidnapping.
