How will they get out of the mines! Report

General Summary

So the party decides to go headlong into the mines while the two stragglers (our rouge and pali) decide to stay at the blacksmith and make some armor. but after hearing the kobolds try and breakthrough they abandoned ship and broke the forge. caving in more of the entrance as they left. by this time the rest of the party had become thoroughly lost, but the rouge tracked them down and they were able to Finnish a long rest without incident. a lucky guess lead them to the tunnel up and they proceeded to leave the mines coming out on top of the bluff.   They read the inscription there and determined that the spirit core gem was at the smaller peak near Riker. the rouge jumped off the side using feather fall to get him and all but the pali down easily. they discussed laving him to his fate but after a few rounds of arguing got him down with a trust fall and a sniped feather fall.   they made it to the younger sister where they went full tard and climbed the side of it falling and almost killing themselves over and over. but making it to the top with 0 brainpower and maximum effort. once at the top they found the stairway down that the pali had revealed the day before.   coming to the bottom they came to wind room 1 and tried to bum rush this as well. the overwhelming DC put a stop to that. thining that the fan's destruction would be the best way to get past, the teifling source of destruction powered through the wind close enough to cast shatter on the fan. which caused it to slow down, but at the same time throw shrapnel all over the party. he did think enough to cast hellish rebuke however and make the fan slow just a bit more. but the fighter, as well as the wizard and teifling sorcerer, were bleeding out.   the pali rapidly healed the two casters and sealed the shrapnel inside and then responded to the fighter's penetrating chest wound by removing the debris... but afterward, he healed the wound causing blood loss but otherwise. after spending too much time cutting the shrapnel out of the others they took a long rest. or tired to at least.   the buff elf sorcerer and the rouge ripped one of the metal plates off the wall to try and block the wind it worked but they revealed an enemy embedded in the wall behind the panel and engaged in combat with spider-like a robot.   they took it out after some creative use of spells and whacking with large metal plates. after which they actually took a long rest. on a side note they failed to realize they had been found by a person of unknown identity.   they made it across the room easily with the pannel as a shield from the wind and made it to the next room. where the abyss stated at them as they threw shit in to see if it floated on the wind current coming out of the depth. they did not.   The rough was lowered down on a rope to see if she could reach the bottom but instead got to a place where the wind was strong enough to support her weight.   we left it there as the sorcerer of destruction looked in his bag to discover his rust monster egg has hatched.
