Episode 07: Rendezvous in Razun Report

General Summary

Looted the mine for some coin and gems. Found some tracks of dwarves in the "abandoned" mine, but couldn't make any sense of them.

Went back to the ship to rest and got awoken by Urim Goldmaster the next morning who arrived by teleport circle and invited us to lunch while lowkey admitting they expected us to get robbed and killed so the Gray Angels could get the plasma rifles. However, he is happy that getting the plasma rifles to Razun would make him more money somehow.

The crew went to the Temple of Uth Rom, found the hottest clubs from Meleena for the price of a jar of pickles, and met Tino and Dueld who run the temple. Nia sweet talked them into discounts on a scroll of remove curse for DJ Smexy Smurf and upgrades to turn our ident-a-hedrons into bluetooth speakers. Xeno also explained his desire to become a man, and Dueld took him to choose his preferred style of 100gp soulforged shaft. His wise mentors guided him to Ielroth's Spigot, the model that dispenses booze. The temple then offered them a shipping contract for delivery to the Tortoise in the Zone and two passengers.

Crew then went to lunch with Urim and Karen. Had nice mushroom soup and meat. The Goldmaster's repeat their plan to have us run over by the gray angels, but we have proven our mettle so they could pay us more and cut out the middle man. During lunch, a strange floating brain and mechanical spiders started a riot in the house to a creepy rendition of Whiskey in the Jar.

The entire time, the brain in the jar kept asking about it's "little sister" Jenny and asking, "why is Jenny hurting us?"

The Goldmaster's and staff were useless, so the crew had to bring the hurt. Afterwards, the crew had pretty much had it with Urim's incompetence and deception. So, after cornering the Goldmaster's at the edge of their cliff balcony, we extracted some info about the Gray Angel contacts in the Bluestar Alliance or Tedwen but not in the Barony of Greystone. We also nabbed the crate with the plasma rifle in it and Nia snagged a spider to be left with the authorities pinned to a note about how it was contraband found at the Goldmaster's.
