Blood of Angels Report

General Summary

The party was able to defeat the constructs being created by the cursed scroll with the help of a paladin they met named Dylan.  It turned out he was sent there to find them by Crissius .  He helped them defeat the vemoraxx, and large baby constructs that were pulled from the dept of the minds of the party, and reopen the library again.  Armed with the location of the Mithril Castle Ruins, they decided to spend a little time in the city.   While taking some time to enjoy the upcoming holiday, Reclamation Day Traveyn found a friend of his has been attacked and had a piece of her soul stolen.  The players players investigated and found that similar things had happened to other aasimars over the city.  Apparently the souls were being taken and were going to be offered to a devol called Balgon.   While the victims were not dead, there was not much time before the souls were truly transferred and the would be severed from the bodies killing the victims.  The party investigated and tried to lure the attacker out.  When that didn;t work, they tried to trace an item that was stolen from the victim, and were betrayed by a Fence at Chessit's Abandoned Treasures.  They managed to escape the trap and traced the people involved back to three trading companies that have been working together and benefiting from some strange accidents.   While investigating, one of the trading company owners, they saw her or her ally send a pack of hell hounds out after the fence.  They managed to defeat the creatures and save the fence, but now know where the enemy is holding up.

The players met JAsper, owner of Chessit's Abandoned Treasures a pawn shop and fence he seemed helpful, but betrayed them to the people they were searching for.  The also met Dau Lunawolf, head of the Lunarwolf trading company who they believe is in league with the people stealing the aasimar souls.
