Something's Strange in Freeport Part 2 Report
General Summary
When the Party left the Feral Blades, and were making their way back through Drac's End, they were assaulted in the streets of the city by a pack of wolves. The wolves seemed to use tactic that were much more intelligent than normal wolves, leaving the area of a spell and moving around building to attack the party from another direction. The party was able to defeat the wolves with only Uvan and David suffering wounds.
Whether these were the same "dogs" that have been causing issue in Drac's end though the party didn’t know. After a night of sleep, they visited Madame Papuza in her tent in Tent Town. The place was a legitimate fortune teller tent and the stuff inside was mostly legitimate, but the Gypsy's manner showed that she was skilled in the art of entertainment, as well as the occult. The told the Party she knew Aurette, and had seen her about a week ago. She knew about Conrad, and the Feral Blades, and even their leader, Yohan. She explained that she knew Yohan's family from Arnonia and that they were an evil family and Yohan was one of the worst of the bunch. She said she warned Aurette against pursuing him. The conversation was cut short though, as while they were speaking swarms of rats attacked tent town, killing a few of the residents. The PC were able to defeat them, with Uvan and Trevayn's magic. before they were interrupted though, the gypsy did do a card reading for David, but it was nothing that he wanted to hear.
After they left the Papu's tent they went back to the Feral school but it was empty. Looking around, Trevayn did manage to find a magical necklace of animal teeth. He could not tell what it was for though, and put it back, not wanting to alert the weapons training they had been there.
David then cast a spell to try to gain some insight into where to search next. The cryptic answer returned them to the Vera home, where they showed up just after a break in. Someone had broken into the residence and stolen some of Aurett's clothes. Also taken were several items from the house. The Vera's Two silver wedding Goblets, A silver mirror given to the family from a grandmother, and a set of silverware that was also a wedding present from master Vera's mother-in-law. The tracks show the like person was a slim female, and they party thought for sure it was Aurette. But why did she take those items. It wasn't to sell them for gold, as her coin purse was still on her vanity.
