Session 9: Welcome to Girdwood Report

General Summary

Recap

The gang made their way out of the Forlorn and entered Girdwood. The gang split up and some spent the night at the Winking Inn and meet Dakota, the Innkeeper. Dakota was clearly drunk and the gang got a free nights stay. Scab and Gornstein slept at the city stables, where Gornstein began making more Nitro.   During the night, Avix overheard a conversation between two men. It was a seemingly "normal" drug deal, however, the conversation turned to darker topics. The two men spoke about "live" sales and The Dungeon was brought up.   The next day, the gang regrouped and made their way to the Slums of Girdwood. They went to a location Avix was hardly familiar with, a saloon, only to discover that the saloon was closed and boarded up.   The gang then made their way down the street where they managed to find a man who was sleeping on the street. They woke the man up and asked him where he got his drugs (the man was clearly recovering from a long night). The man's response was that his roommate always handled the deals. The gang drug the man up to his apartment unit, but did not find the roommate. They did, however, steal some "yellow" off of the man as they left otherwise empty handed.   They then made their way to the Mayor's Office, where their suspicions were finally answered. Mayor Tiberius told the gang that he is looking for a lost boy and is willing to pay handsomely for his return. The Mayor also told the gang that the boy is not his, but he is contracted through some third party affiliate.   The gang made their way out of the office with new information and, again, slit up. Carver followed Avix secretly where he met with an unknown girl. The others traveled towards the southeast gate to look for potential people who would have potentially seen the boy enter the city. During their trek, they stumbled upon a group of townsfolk harassing's a poor hunchbacked man named Sylvester. The gang helped rescue Sylvester from the mean townsfolk, to which Sylvester was happy to give the gang information pertaining to the Slums.   Sylvester told the gang about two locations that he thinks are home to black-market activity.   1: The Oubliette - A shop that sells clothing and other random goods. Sylvester was concerned with the low customer rates during the day, and high numbers during the night.   2: Not So Heavenly - A brothel in the slums. Sylvester was keen to point out that he had seen many nipples at this location. It is obvious that this is Sylvester's favorite place to sit outside.
