The Arsonist has been apprehended, but now the ESquad and their new mentor(s) may have a missing persons case on their hands.
New Haven is burning, and there are only two ppl in the city capable of putting the flame out. Snow Owl, following the lead on a corrupt company and one of their hit-men, and Red Cross, seeking refuge in New Haven after the death of her loved one, end up having to team together to bring an end to a series of arsons plaguing New Haven. Seemingly random, but too many fires to be a coincidence, SO and RC realise that the supers (as sent by the NHSHA) in charge of the mysterious burnings won’t cut it. The city government, in an attempt to mitigate worries while other great looming calamities plague their heroing population, have sent an under-qualified team to address this problem. Thinking, hoping rather, that the fires are of no importance, the E Squad (often called Easy Squad as a laugh) are the official hero representatives. After seeing on the news that E Squad have been sent to contain the fires, but having a feeling the fires have more to it than officials are letting on, Red Cross has gone off on their own for answers. Their search has taken them to the latest arson site, a luxury apartment building that has seen better days, even before the fire. Now abandoned by tenets and authorities, RC takes this chance to enter the crime scene and find clues of her own. While at the crime scene she runs into Snow Owl. Snow Owl’s search for Micah Downey (Arsonist) brought them to Henrich Jewls (son of current building owner) apartment after successfully raiding CEO Leland Sr(former owner)’s home office and finding their current enforcer’s/saboteurs on file. They know that the fires have been have been caused by LeLand, but the why is still a mystery.
