General Summary

  Maximum Resistance and Hope both happen to attend at MCU (Millennium City University), so they were both in the Science building when the incident happened.   Socrates discovered something very concerning to him and alerted 3 of the team to investigate with urgency.   When they arrived things were already in motion, and people were evacuating the building.   Shortly after, a motley pile of various pieces of equipment and junk lumbered out from the sub levels of the building via the loading docs. It formed a giant humanoid-like critter that initially seemed to pose no threat, but was perhaps a new incarnation of AI with some of Socrates code embedded. It seemed to have been under attack from Viper agents, and fleeing them.   At some point the being indicated it recognized the heroes, and even the panicking normals running about trying to get to safety. And then it demanded to know where Socrates was, and to be taken to him.   Some violence ensued and eventually the being made physical contact with a giant jumbotron TV and vanished into it, leaving inanimate junk behind.
