Session 5: Report

General Summary

Session 1-4 Notes   1st of Roelir 1524   Group was tasked with finding a man named Dominic. He was killed by a necromancer named Morgrym.   The group killed Morgrym and adopted "Good" Dog.   Upon reporting back to Ana she demanded they leave town and directed the group to Poden where her nephew worked at a similar Inn and organisation.   The group agreed they would leave, but instead of doing so as quickly as Ana insisted they stayed at the Wooden Spoon on the other side of town.   2nd of Roelir 1524   The next day before leaving and being fully rested they did a little bit of shopping and made their way to Poden through the woods. They encounter some goblins that were easily dispatched and some bandits regrouped before attacking the adventurers in the dead of night. The group killed one and sent the rest running before suggesting they go back to the Wooden Spoon to make a real living.   4th of Roelir 1524   Upon arriving at Poden they were given a hard time at the gate due to heighten security but were allowed entry in the end.   They met Jashua, getting some information about a man who had had their mark but had disappeared. Jashua mentioned a dean at the University had recently lost his son to something relating to this.   The group went to the University and met Miss Berry. They eventually found their way to Christos' office to find it locked and the dean gone. The group then separated for different avenues for investigation.   Karl - Spoke to Miss Berry and paid to use library. Read about the History of the Unchained and saw many Miss Berrys.   Lily - Spoke to an urchin who had recently had his brother go missing (no mark on him before this). The urchin revealed the prince had had the mark. The King was upset, but when mark was removed the Queen was upset.   Fargrim/Reign - Spoke with the Master of the Watch at the barracks. He was a nobel using his money to aid in the efforts to protect the city. There seemed to be two types of missing cases. One lot connecting to the marks and one lot connecting to people who wouldn't be missed. The increased security and limited movement in and out the city reduced the latter problem. People for the former problem were being killed despite protection and best efforts.   5th of Roelir 1524   The group went to talk to Christos. He helped them preform a spell which told them how to reach the Unchained Secert Place. They went through only getting slightly lost at the end. Two human skeletons and 1 bone naga were fought and defeated. Many guardian nagas were discovered below the lake and the group promised to help them escape.   SESSION 5   The carvan is old. The temple looks just as old if not older. There are faded impressions of markings that were etched into the walls. An investigation check to see the details.   Very low - They have seen a child draw better then these siggles Mid - They might have some snakes or they might just use a lot of "S"'s in their language. High - There seems to be serpents and some people who are part serpents in the pictures. If they think to they could grab a rubbing.   Upon going into the temple the first chamber is rather large. It goes 80 ft left and right from the door and 20 ft forward. There are three deeper sections. Directly ahead of you is an alter made of gold and jade. It's 20 ft wide, 10 ft deep and hip height. Behind it is a tablet also made of gold and jade. It's very beautiful at a glance. On the right you can see the room goes around a corner to the left and the mirror of the same is on the left.   LEFT Two doors on the left and one on the right. The left 2 lead to dorm like bedrooms. Each with 4 beds. There seems to be very little in the way of personal affects. The right went downstairs but the group did not go downstairs.   RIGHT Had four doors in total. The end door had voices behind them. A failed stealth check resulted in the cultist necromancers being aware they were here. Battle!   As a result of battle 2 were killed, 2 knocked out and 1 restrained. He helped them break the contract once he led them to the library on the left side of the temple. Once they were destroyed Reign executed him. Things were discovered in the library, cells and bedrooms (see reward section).   Upon leaving Christos was reminded by the group that the first alter in the temple might hold the key to freeing the nagas. With a successful dispelling of the magic released the nagas. They allowed the group to come down to a secert area that held a very large diamond. Inside the diamond was another Miss Berry.   The group returned to the surface. Christos went back to the Uni and the rest went back to have lunch at the Attractive Carrot.

• The group no longer has a contract on them and they were not killed. They have discovered others who were in the same situation and freed.
