Session 71: Shadows Go Bump In the Night Report

General Summary

8th of Deismir 1524 continued     At 4pm the group is all together at the manor. Caramella checks in to make sure Erin isn't joining you so she can do steaks. Lily updates everyone on the Black Silks and what she discovered about the Serpent. Fargrim updates them that Phobe is likely just a normal girl with a troubled past. Karl tells the group about what Sunnis told him.   Lily suggests they deal with the witches of Willow next. Karl puts a spell of sending in Lily’s ring. They discuss possibly sending spies to Saarmen. The conversation steers towards their adventuring guild and the fact they don’t have forever with Jo’s magical mansion to rely on for the fish.   Before dinner Karl dispels the magic on the box, though it does take two castings to succeed. After that Lily struggles with the lock and in the end they use one of their chimes to open the lock box. With it open they find 7 gems and a lot of platinum. Karl starts to count the coin. Lily promises to get them appraised tomorrow when she suddenly remembers the Mummy’s heart and hurries to destroy that quickly. Then she starts to scry. Fargrim heads upstairs to his bedroom to pray for Erin.   Lily scries on Wellmore and sees her talking with an Elf. She believes it to be the mage guild in Trie. The elf is drawing Wellmore a picture. Lily tells Karl and they consider going into Wellmore’s Demiplane while this is happening but decide against it.   Lily scrys again but this time on Lorenah. It works, but she just sees Lorenah waiting in a tavern in Saarmen. Lily scrys a second time to see Lorenah meeting with Yura. However, Yura sees the sensor. Yura does a sending to Lily and Erin. Lily apologises to Karl and tells him what happened. Karl contacts Erin with the stone and finds her in the middle of another panic attack. He rushes to her ship, casting invisibility on himself as he runs.   Fargrim comes down as Karl disappears. Lily fills Fargrim in on what happened. Lily, Fargrim and Xeldarix discuss Xeldarix’s telepathy and the shape of thoughts and feelings.  


Karl runs like a mad man. He arrives to find a few crew cleaning the deck under Enna's watchful eye but no one else. Enna tells him the captain is in her cabin with Erdad. Apparently Erin had been doing small challenges all day. When the message came she was climbing the mast. The attack caused her to fall. Hit the two sail yards on the way down. Ten tended to the physical damage. Enna gives Karl permission to take Erin back to the manor tonight.   Erin is laying on the bed with a protective Erdad. Karl apologises for Lily, telling Erin why she got a message from Yura. Erin explains her day and the wins she did have before her fall. Karl explains Erin will stay at the manor tonight to prevent this happening until he can protect the boat. Erdad protests at first but allows it after promises are made. Erin had hit her head on the way down and should be watched. Karl promises to watch her and have Fargrim check on her. Together they start to make their way back to the manor.   On the way back they talk about the Prince of Water, forming an alliance and seeing if he can help her. However, Karl doesn’t want to go into detail in case someone is scrying on Erin. Karl promises to look into blocking sending somehow.  
After dinner Lily sits down to read her guild report before moving on to her bloodline book. Fargrim removes curses from more items before heading to the library. At 7:30pm Karl and Erin arrive. Karl tells Fargrim about Erin’s fall and he looks her over. Fargrim finds evidence of half healed wounds. The bruising suggests she likely landed on her right side, breaking an arm and several ribs. The breaks for the most part have been fixed, but the bruising remains. The back of her head is tender but no bump so it is likely that a head injury had been healed as well. A concussion seems to remain but heavy healing has been done to get Erin to the point of being able to walk around and not be in pain again.   After explaining his findings to Erin, Fargrim asks if Erin prays and recommends doing that to back up what he is doing with praying to Haelyn. Afterwards Erin and Karl head upstairs to their room while Fargrim heads into the library. Fargrim looks for Dwarven history, geology and religion, but only seems to find books about the feywild. This library is poorly organised... or so Fargrim believes.   9th of Deismir 1524   Lily is up first at 5am. She prepares herself for the day before teaching Xeldarix more Elvish. She seems to have had another jump in her abilities again. While Lily and Xeldarix work on Elvish, Lily takes out a small pearl and sprinkles some ruby dust on it, bringing forth a red and gold flame that emanates from inside the pearl.   At 6am Fargrim, Karl and Erin get up, prepare and come down for breakfast. Simone and Vuru also come down for breakfast. Caramella made muffins for breakfast and there was fruit and juice available. Fargrim is suspicious of the breakfast since he views it to be too basic for Caramella’s talents and goes to confront her about it. However when goes out there and see the amount of cleaning up required for muffins being freshly baked in the morning, he believes he might be mistaken but still asks about it. He tries to convince her Erin is not pregnant but Caramella can’t imagine why else certain smells would make Erin feel unwell.   Fargrim comes back to the table and asks to speak with Erin alone. She leaves the table with Kai guiding her out to the hallway. Fargrim tells her about what Caramella thinks. Erin isn’t sure that telling Caramella the truth would be better. When they come back to the table, Erin whispers this to Karl, which surprises him. They agree to discuss it later instead of at the breakfast table.   The conversation shifts to people’s plans for the day. Fargrim is meeting with a stone cutter, Karl is going to do some research and Lily is undetermined at this stage. They briefly talk about plans to go to Poden. Lily has a guild commitment tomorrow, but after that she is good to help with that. She can cast Heroes Feast which will help with that. They agree that on the 11th they will leave for Poden. Xeldarix is informed that she can’t help with the witches due to their defences. She is enraged by how unfair this is. In the end she stormed away from the table. Lily leaves to follow Xeldarix. Karl leaves to escort Erin and after a few minutes Fargrim also goes up to check on Xeldarix.  
Lily finds Xeldarix in her room, but waits outside as she can hear Uqaviel talking to Xeldarix. Uqaviel asks her some hard questions but Xeldarix deems the questions unfair when she knows Lily is just outside the door. Lily enters and apologises. Lily offers a compromise to Xeldarix that they wind walk to Poden and be in the area just in case she is needed. However before they get too far into the chat Fargrim knocks on the door.   Lily warns Fargrim against discussing the trip. Lily changes the subject to ask Uqaviel if Erin had an anchor. He confirms she does not. Fargrim offers to try and research about the void today and Uqaviel tells him to be careful. After that chat the pair split up. Fargrim heads for the temple and Lily goes to check on Simone.  
As Karl went out into the front yard he could have sworn something was off with one of the shadows for one of the shrubs. However upon a second look it looks normal. Either way he keep Erin close as he walks to the harbour with her.  
Lily checks in on Simone. She is getting ready for her day of noble things. Lily gives her the pearl with continuous flames cast on it. Simone loves it. After that they head off to the alchemy lab at the mage guild and arrive at 8 am.  
Karl and Erin arrive at the ship at 8am and Erin is immediately swept off her feet by Erdad who is happy to see her. They go into Erin’s cabin to talk. Erdad goes to get Enna so Karl doesn’t have to repeat himself. While she is gone Karl reveals some of the prophecies that have revealed someone is coming to kill Erin and steal her bloodline. Also there is the issue with the void which Karl had never mentioned to her before. Erin requests they wait for the others as the information is piled onto her as she gets them some drinks for this conversation.   Erdad, Enna and Wave arrive. Karl updates them on the current threats against Erin. This includes information about Lorenah, a hunter for Erin bloodline, and the void. However, Karl takes a look around the room with his star and sees Erin’s is being spied on by a sensor. He uses his amulet to make it disappear. Karl immediately starts casting Private Sanctum and Erin prepares for a sending message. However, there is no message that comes through, much to Erin’s relief. Karl believes it might be Wellmore.   Karl leaves the ship to get the gems appraised. Jacinth (1000 gp), fire opal (1000 gp), 3 x opal (1000 gp), star ruby (1000 gp), yellow sapphire (1000 gp).  
At 8:30am Fargrim arrives at the temple with an armful of baked goods to give out as he meets with the stoneworker. Fargrim specifies that he wants Haelyns iconography to be prominent. The top of the altar should have a silver sword over a golden sunburst. The inscription on the sides of the altar should read Rule by Law, Justice, and Courage. The legs of the altar should be shaped as mauls (with the heads of the mauls pointed down). The underside of the altar should read a short inscription "Dedicated by Brother Fargrim Hammerland. Deismir, 1524, to watch over this Temple and Brechlen."   Afterwards Fargrim heads to the mage guild after briefly stopping off at the bank to deposit some gold.  
Lily talks with Peter about how the students are doing and checks about the potions she had requested. She buys the ones made for her and some fun ones. Afterwards Lily heads for the inn/guild. She arrives there at 9:15am. Lily talks with Molly about the contests and about getting a team together for the witches.  
At 9:30am Karl arrives at the mage guild. He goes up to see Master Barnes. After consulting with the Master Karl learns about the mind blank spell being helpful and a Ring of Mind Shielding to help Erin. They also talk about Inden, but Master Barnes had only vaguely heard of them. They are just happy Miss Berry is happy.   Karl also talks to Master Barnes about the witches. Master Barnes warns Karl to be careful and tell her if she can help in anyway. Then he leaves to go see Sam and June. Karl updates June that he will be attempting to get Master Shyr back soon. June says that would help her research into freeing him. Then heads off to raid the shops to see if he can find an oddity store around town that by some miracle has what he is looking for for Erin. He leaves the guild at 10am.  
After talking with Molly, Lily leaves the guild at 10am to get things appraised.   Lock box: A drake hide merchant's cap trimmed with ermine (750 gp), a fine leather coat tooled with draconic scales (750 gp), a lacquered wooden plate engraved with floral vines (750 gp) Mummy stuff: 1 Silver-plated steel longsword with jet set in hilt (750gp), 1 Carved handheld harp of exotic wood with ivory inlay and zircon gems (750gp), 1 Small gold idol (750gp), 1 Silver bowl set with moonstones (1000gp)   Then get some lunch before heading to the temple.  
Fargrim arrives at the library at 11am. He tries to research the void. Fargrim finds stuff that talks about it but nothing really focused on the topic itself. It's side notes to other pieces.  
  • A Kobold up North went missing. Mad ramblings. Called the trap master. Death to anyone going into his lair.
  • Shadows moving around cities at night.
  • What is the void? Is the void in all of us?
  Afterwards, frustrated by a lack of information here, Fargrim heads for the manor. He arrives a little after 12 and has lunch. When no one else arrives for lunch he heads to the temple of Neria.  
At noon, Lily and Xeldarix arrive at the temple. They stay for an hour before leaving and head to the manor to get the flying boat.  
At 12:30pm, after having some lunch, Karl goes back to shopping to try and find what he needs for Erin. So far he has gotten a ring of protection for himself that is an improvement over his current protection, saw some robes he really wants but reframes, a potion and a new sword. He resolves to look for another hour before considering checking in with others. However, the next shop has an item that does exactly what he needs! Knaves Eyepatch! An ironic item for a pirate but it will help Erin keep her sanity. With and a pot for Lily, he messages Erin and runs back to the ship.   Erin is so happy and grateful. They head to her cabin so she can focus on item and attune to it. Karl tells her all about his shopping trip and the robes he really wants. Karl also takes time to focus on his new ring as well.  
At 2pm Fargrim arrives at the temple. He takes his time in the pews, praying for Erin for a short time before heading to High Paladin Salma’s office. There he confides in Salma their plans to go take on the witches soon. Salma cannot give them forces as they are a part of the city’s protection. They also talk about Erin’s collar. Fargrim also mentions a prophecy about the Chanty and Salma promises to pass the warning on as the Chanty leaves in the morning. Lastly they discuss the temple of many faiths. Salma does not see a need to add Neira to the mix despite Fargrim’s kind offer.   Afterwards Fargrim leaves to go shopping.  
At 2pm Lily arrives at the manor. Seeing no one else here, she grabs the boat and flies out of town heading for the skyport that was an hour to the east of Brechlen to get back on the sky river.  
At 2:30pm Karl and Erin have attuned to their new items. In the end not only does she pay him back for the item, but also gives him the extra coin to buy his robes. He then heads to the temple to see his sister and High Paladin Salma. Karl gives his sister a circlet and then sees the High Paladin. He gets Salma and Saryea to watch over him as he contact Avani with the ritual from Xeldarix. They do not approve, but will observe. Saryea blesses Karl and they all blindfold themselves. Even through the blindfold the light is painfully bright as they connect with Avani herself. Karl was kneeling in the floor in front of the bowl. When the window opens and the light pours out, he bows forward to touch his forehead to the ground.   The light starts to feel warmer after Karl speaks, his ears aching as he hears a voice. Karl asks about the weapons the angels left behind in the last conflict. Avani allows for the weapons to be kept as an apology. Karl asks about how he can continue to help Xeldarix. Avani advises him to keep her close and out of their realm. She is protected out of respect for Basaia but she will not be happy in that realm. Karl is struggling to hear over the sound of blood in his ear and the pain.   With the pain growing, Karl tries to cut the conversation short and end the spell. However, Avani is not done speaking and the communication is kept open. When she is done replying to Karl, she allows the connection to end. The pain in Karl's ears are sharp, like there are glass shards in there. When it’s done, Karl’s ears bleed as he rips off the blindfold and looks around. Salma has collapsed and Saryea is barely standing. Karl huries over to give Salma a potion. Everyone is struggling to hear one another. Healing hands is spread around to help everyone as much as they can. After the healing the hearing is restored but their ears are sensitive and ache.   Salma and Saryea reveal they heard Avani, but they spoke to them instead of answering what Karl had to say. Saryea goes to lay down while Salma and Karl wait for the Chanty that will arrive soon.  
At 3pm Lily gets to the skyport and follows the river downstream for an hour. It heads South and slowly becomes SE.  
Fargrim arrives back at the manor at 3:30pm. There he sets himself up to have some tea and relax in the sunroom.  
At 4pm the Chanty arrives at the temple. Karl, Salma and Emma sit down to talk. Salma mentions Fargrim came by with a warning about the trip to Blackgate and Karl expands on the possible danger. Once that discussion is done, Emma asks after Simone and gives Karl medicine that should last Simone until the Chanty returns from her trip. After that Karl heads for the manor.  
At 4pm Lily arrives at the next dock. The area is hilling and mountain like. Heading down and looking around, there is a ravine where Lily can see the entrance to a cave. Near the cave entrance Lily can see there once trees here, but they have long since died. In fact, looking around Lily can see that it is likely that a forest was once in this but is long since dead.   The opening you stand in is about 200’ wide. The ravine runs at least 400’ west to where the western end rises in a steep slope. Here and there, at varying heights on all sides of the ravine, you can see the black mouths of cave-like openings in the rock walls.   There are bare, dead trees here and there, and upon one a vulture perches and gazes hungrily at you. A flock of ravens rise croaking from the ground, the beat of their wings and their cries magnified by the terrain to sound loud and horrible. Amongst the litter of rubble, boulders, and dead wood scattered about on the ravine floor, you can see bits of gleaming ivory and white closer inspection reveals that these are bones and skulls of men, animals, and other things…   Leaving Ohtli guards the boat, Lily and Xeldarix go to explore. They barely get inside before they are attacked with tough kobolds, rats and it sounds like more are coming the longer they fight. There is a pit trap and in the end the pair retreat. They hear conversations about slaves and a priest that might be able to fix the land.   They start to fly back to Brechlen.  
At 5pm Karl arrives at the manor and heads to the sunroom to rest with Fargrim and relax while waiting for Lily to return. They talk about their day and the fact they both remembered to warn the Chanty. Though Fargrim got a bit confused as he believed the Chanty to have already left. They plan to cast Legend Lore on Erin’s collar and tonight Karl will stay with Erin before she sets sail tomorrow.   Karl messages Lily asking where she is and how close she is. Lily replies that she is an hour away and that she was exploring leyline. She is coming back now, but asks if they need something now. Karl casts sending again to message her back let her know Karl isn’t staying for dinner and ask if she wanted tea. Lily replies she would try tea and asks if something happened. This time Karl gets Fargrim to send Lily a message to reassure her that everything is fine.   Karl then asks Fargrim how much gold he has. Fargrim has no money on him. Karl tells him about the other pair of speaking stones he found and if they got it, they could always talk unlike what just happened. Karl contacts Erin with his speaking stone to let him know when he will head to the ship after Lily returns.
At 6pm Lily arrives back at the manor. Peter has also returned for the day. Caramella has served up a zucchini slice for the group. Karl stays to quickly chat with the group. Lily tells the group about possibly finding a source of power with a cave system. This included kobolds, rats, slaves and a priest. The priest is possibly doing realm magic to try and restore life to his local area of Muden that the source can reach.   Karl tells the group about the eyepatch and that they have permission to use the angelic weapons. As he carefully tells the group he spoke with Avani today. Karl promises not to do it again. Xeldarix can sense Karl is struggling to speak about something as he looks at her. She snaps about suggesting that she should leave if he finds it so hard to talk with her here. Karl reassures she should stay and he passes on Avani’s message about her being protected. She takes it the wrong way about being restricted where she can and cannot go. Fargrim chatices Karl for his reckless behaviour.   Karl brings up the speaking stones and the cost to Lily. He offers to send a message to the seller to hold onto them if Lily is interested, which she is. Karl gives Lily his speaking stone, and draws the sigil for the one Erin has for Lily to memories. However, his drawing isn’t very good. In the end Lily contacts the court of the Siren.   Fargrim says he will come see Erin in the morning to cast Legend Lore on the choker. Then he chases Karl out the manor in case Karl calls down on hell on the manor. Karl heads for the ship.   Fargrim and Lily enjoy dinner. They talk about their days, the temple of Xeldarix and Fargrim’s void research. Xeldarix plays a prank on Fargrim. They get into an argument about how tables are different from altars. Lily invites Fargrim to watch the contests at the adventurer’s guild tomorrow. Lily heads upstairs to scry, read and relax until bed.   Lily scrys on Lorenah. Lorenah is back in the room that Lily saw her working on equipment. Lily has seen this room before. She is tinkering with a net that has weights around the edge. The balls glow with arcane runes and energy. She is currently working on the part of the net the thrower holds and uses to pull the captured target towards themselves. Lily sees the trolls come in to talk to Lorenah but Lily cannot understand what they say.   The second target is Mimi. Mimi is in a cabin. She is whole and well. Pottering around the cabin. Looks to maybe be in Muden near the water’s edge. Lily doesn’t get much from this interaction.  
Fargrim heads up to his room to cast commune, before removing curses from 9 items. Afterwards he relaxes until bedtime.   Is Karl a fool for contacting Avani directly? Yes. Technical question M’Lord, is it possible to hollow an altar in a hollowed space? No. Is Divine Intervention the only way to FORCE Erin’s collar off? Uncertain Yes.  
Karl arrives at the ship without issue. He messages the seller, Sungia, and confirms the speaking stones are still available and will hold them for Karl’s buyer tomorrow. Afterwards he finds Erin and gets her to message Lily about the stones. Karl has dinner, scribes scrolls. Erin has to chase Erdad away so she can have some private time with Karl. Erin seems a little better than she has been in the last few days in terms of how she is doing mentally.  
At 11:30pm, the shadows of the night attacks group within the manor. This wakes everyone up, but not without hurting many of them badly. With these sneak attacks, Caramella and Alfonso go down very quickly. Fargrim, Lily and Peter are all also hit, but they survive the initial attack. The shadows upstairs pushes their attacks. One of the shadows attacks on Lily, hitting her twice. The same happens to Fargrim. With the rude awakening Simone sits up and screams, and pulls her hood up to go invisible. Some shadows are looking confused in Karl’s room since the room is empty.   Downstairs Peter is assaulted by the shadow again, recognising the shadow elemental from the last time Karl was in Wellmore’s demiplane. Immediately he banishes the shadow attacking him successfully. He calls out to the house a warning, telling the house that Wellmore sent these creatures to kill the group. With the shadow that attacked Caramella having completed it’s task, it moves on to look for a new target inside the manor.   Upstairs Xeldarix flies into a divine rage as she feels Caramella’s thoughts start to fade. She threatens Ohtli that if Lily dies she will kill them before dramatically diving out of the window before flying round the side of the house towards Caramella’s window, flying at pull speed before making her wings disappear and skillfully tumbling into the room. After being threatened, Ohtli attacks the shadows, doing the best he can to help, but can’t hit. Lily points at the shadow, hissing at them to get out, trying to banish them and does successfully remove one from the room. Uqaviel comes into the room and sighs dramatically before walking out the room to find Xeldarix. In Fargrim’s room the shadows bring him down to unconsciousness as he starts to bleed out. The shadows in Simone’s tent attack Abigail when they now can’t see Simone and she only gets hit once. Abigail does not take kindly to being attacked and banished the two in the tent. Abigail leaves the tent to find out what is going on right now. Simone follows, is a little distracted by screaming ghosts everywhere and heals Abigail a little.   Downstairs the shadow attacking Alfonso leaves to head for the chimney on the roof. Caramella and Alfonso continues to bleed out. The shadow that had attacked Caramella is heading upstairs. Peter carefully and quietly moves through the manor looking for danger. Xeldarix heals Caramella and brings her round before running off, calling out someone needs to help Fargrim as she feels his thoughts start to fade too. Caramella hides under her bed.   Upstairs Lily is attacked by the remaining shadow in the room, but she uses the shield spell in the ring to protect himself. One of the shadows attacks Fargrim heads for Lily’s room, but is stopped short by an unseen Uqaviel. Uqaviel destroys the shadow in his way. This forces Uqaviel to visible, revealing the edgelord fashion Xeldarix has been forcing him to wear but has remained invisible as a result. One of the shadows that didn’t see that attack goes up to try and attack Uqaviel but misses. Another shadow that attacked Fargrim moves on to check Lyra and Lila’s room. Ohtli tries to attack again fails, while Lily summons her sword before healing herself. Abigail does not try to get past the beautiful, flaming angel in front of her. Instead runs into Lily’s room to help her, casting dissonant whispers at one of the shadows in there. It flees into Xeldarix room, getting hit by Lily on the way through. It runs into the wall as Lily’s smiting attack blinds it. Simone uses synaptic static over the shadows in front of Uqaviel and muddles them.   Downstairs Alfonso bleeds out, and Xeldarix feels his thoughts stop completely. The shadow that killed Alfonso is back in the house downstairs. Two shadows attacks Xeldarix but misses. Peter hears Xeldarix and moves to see the two shadows are attacking her. He has been told to be helpful and defend people, so he will defend people. Firing off a magic missile, doing a lot of damage. Xeldarix flies up to Fargrim’s room, the shadows failing to hit her as she flies past, busted down a door and pours healing into Fargrim. He comes to consciousness seeing an angry Xeldarix looming over him with red eyes and glowing hands, slaps him awake. He gets up, grabs his gear and heads for the door. He casts Shield of Faith on himself.   Upstairs slays another shadow as they continue to block his way. Lily chases down the shadow Abigail forced to flee, getting two good hits in with a smiting that nearly kills it. Abigail runs over to use chill touch to remove the last of the life from that shadow and head back to where Simone is. Simone moves past Uqaviel to the railing look down into the foyer. She throws down Psychic Lance and badly damages another shadow, incapacitating it.   Downstairs Peter is attacked twice by a shadow which makes him loss focus on his banishment. Peter yells out for help as he Misty Steps away and runs up the stairs to hide behind Uqaviel. Xeldarix flies from upstairs to downstairs to continue attacking a shadow and destroys it easily. She moves to defend the stairs. A shadow comes out and attacks Xeldarix but misses.   Upstairs a shadow that was searching Lyra and Lila’s empty rooms comes back out and attacks Fargrim. Fargrim responds by attacking it back. Then he heals himself a little. Uqaviel watches over Xeldarix but does not get involved. Lily runs past everyone to run over to the shadow near Fargrim with Abigail following. Abigail sends another chill touch to hurt that shadow. Simone turns to see the shadow near Fargrim, hurting it with mind spike. Downstairs a shadow attacks Xeldarix. Xeldarix moves away and unleashes her light of reason on two of the shadows.   Upstairs Peter sends more magic missiles at the shadow attacking Fargrim, killing it. Fargrim moves out to look around at the group and heals Lily a little. Downstairs shadows blindly attack Xeldarix. Lily moves downstairs to fight with Xeldarix and attacks a shadow. Abigail moves over to the railing and screams, killing the last three shadows. Coughing a little and cleaning her glasses before going to check on Simone.   With the danger gone, Fargrim is disgruntled at the attack and demands to know where the alarms were from Peter. Peter gives some background knowledge on these creatures and their connection to Wellmore. Simone is curious about an injured Peter and Abigail stops Simone from getting too curious. Lily tries to calm Xeldarix and learns Alfonso is dead. Lily runs to the backyard with Xeldarix hot on her tail.   As Lily and Xeldarix run over to Alfonso, while Fargrim bellows out to the house to ask if everyone is okay. No one answers him outside of those who were in the fight. Peter says they will need to get the Masters from the mage guild to look over the house to see how this happened.   Lily revives Alfonso with Xeldarix supporting her. Alfonso is very tired when he is revived. Lily sits with him for a while. Xeldarix is never very against the idea of anyone getting a private room anymore. Fargrim checks on Caramella and patrols the area while Peter sets up the dome. Fargrim sleeps in his armour and everyone falls into an uneasy rest.
