General Summary

The Party exited Hyperspace in the Alderaan system and quickly discovered the planet was missing. The narrowly escaped capture by the Imperials after learning the small moon they had been headed towards was actually a space station. Jumping to hyperspace while in the edge of a tractor beam caused sever damage to their ship, which was only barely able to limp back home to the space port of Skar B on Taris.   They contracted a pit crew to survey the damage and went to Oren's Chop Shop in order to try and reach Mr. E to receive their payment. Which would likely be needed to repair the Purple Flamingo. They were unable to reach him and learned from the HoloNet that Alderaan had been destroyed by the Empire's new super weapon. They assumed the commotion in Skar B had been due to the panic caused by this news.   A couple burst into the chop, the woman requesting medical aid for her husband who was bleeding from a badly injured arm. While Oren was treating the strange wounds, which appeared to be bites. Jicelli noticed the hurried people outside had turned into screams and people fleeing. They all returned to the shop and decided to investigate further, as Oren had detected an infection in the man who had entered her shop seeking treatment.
