Session II Report

The next morning they set out. After a few hours or rowing, they found the shipwreck, being held up by ancient dragon bones slightly above the water. The group climbed a little ways and made it to the main deck of the ship. The party explored the wreckage, finding valuable loot while fighting the occasional pirate zombie. However, when to the bottom decks, they discovered a metal chest that had fallen through the ship. When they opened it, they found various items, but primarily found a talisman dedicated to Orcus, a demon prince. Whoever had made it had hoped it would save her and their husband... Shortly after the group had a run in with a harpy that had made the crows nest, its nest. The harpy was not too talkative, and so they fought. It was a quick battle, with a dead harpy at the end...

Once again the group went back to Dragon' Rest. Here, they told Runala about the talisman. She told them that she knew the husband, sadly he died a few years back. She led them to his grave, where they then placed the talisman upon it. The talisman fell apart, releasing its spell... The party and Runala spoke for some time. Some of the members insisted that Runala reveal her true intentions, and in a rush of wind she transformed into her true form, a Bronze Dragon. She had been watching over the island since the first few dragons had died on it, to make sure no more draconic blood was spilt...

However, she asked the party to do one more task for her, a more personal one. A few days before their arrival, another bronze dragon named Aidron arrived on the island. He studied under Runala, before heading to an old observatory south of the town. The issue is, the observatory has become the lair for another dragon, a blue wyrmling. She believes Aidron has been captured, and wants his safe return. She gave the party a moonstone key to access the observatory, and wished them to be safe...
