relationships sidebar side-panel
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently, relationships display in the main body of an article. This is fine, except that it stops the fullwidth footer from being used with the regular sidebar, and means there's more blank sidebar space that one needs to fill.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Putting relationships in the sidebar is a perfect way to fill the oft-empty sidebar space with more information about the character. This could be combined with css to display the relationships on hover, would make the fullwidth footer more usable, and allows users greater control over the display of this information.
Here's a mockup of how this would look by simply altering the page HTML.
Note that this should be an option, not a replacement, as many people prefer to display these on the article page.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Moving things to the sidebar is generally really useful for arranging articles differently! I think this would help people learn to use the sidebar more effectively in general.
