Currently, we can create subscriber groups and then enable content that only specified groups can see... In addition, I'd like to be able to specify a subscriber group that is NOT able to see information (or a whole article).

Personally, I would use this to deny my Play Testers access to an adventure script I'm working on -- but the article would be otherwise available to others (such as the entire WA community).

Currently, an article that's generally open to the public can't be hidden from a select group.

This suggestion did not reach 300 votes in 20 days - please feel free to resubmit at a later time.   I personally, find this a bit odd, and very easily (by just not signing in) evadable. I would suggest a special tag like "do not read" or a special tag visible on the list and top of the aritcle to advise your players more useful.   But, I will consider it with a neutral mind if it reaches the support requiired.

    I trust my players not to look where they don't have to. Yet, for every competition I participate in, they get notifications, the articles are pushed to my homepage... It would be really nice if they simply could not view those articles.   Previously requested as HBFR-4318.

    I've actually been thinking of this for a while, and have been attempting using containers to do this, but have failed.My personal use case would be for the CYOA things I wanna do. Being able to hide something if one has selected to be in a subgroup would be really handy.

    This would be a neat function to uniquify articles by excluding certain parts if for example the reader explores as a certain species that has no access to anything beyond the upper city gate.

    I would use this for making my adventure plots public but denying access to my players until after they have encountered said plots. Would be VERY useful to me!

    This could be especially useful for self assignable subscriber groups, to only show the selection of the groups, if you are not yet in one of them. This could be interesting for language selects ("Please choose a language before reading this world"), faction selects ("You haven't chosen a faction yet!") or content warnings and probably many more
