One of the only issues I've had with the manuscript editor is that it lacks a spell check function. Many writers depend on this feature in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc. in order to avoid simple errors that are obvious and easy to correct.    By implementing a spell check or allowing Google Chrome's inboard spell check functionality to work in the editor, it would simplify some measure of the editing process and help first drafts come out a bit more intelligible. This would make reading the work created with the editor to be a bit less confusing and help prevent simple spelling errors from distracting from the content itself.    This feature could be unobtrusive and most users will be familiar with how it works. Everyone who uses the manuscript editor could benefit from its implementation.

The Team's Response

World Anvil's Manuscripts are is 100% compatible with both browser spellchecked and professional tools like Grammarly and ProWritingAid   Developing a spellchecker takes thousands of hours of work and a very big development team that will require specialization to the subject matter.   World Anvil is not a spellchecker and there are many completely FREE solutions out there to help you achieve what you need. I, sadly cannot accommodate this now or in the future.
