Hello!
First of all, I want to say I love WorldAnvil to death. This site has done absolute wonders for my creative ventures and projects. One of these I'm currently working on is a site to archive and document the expansive world in FFXIV, focusing on answering obscure lore questions and giving people shareable links for a lot of the questions I answer about the game. A good bit of answers that people look for come from one-time broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube, which on Twitch also gives users access to clipping segments, making it super easy to focus on the specific topic/question a player might have.
What I'd like to request, if possible, is an embed feature like the Youtube function we currently have, but with Twitch clips, VODs, and highlights. I would be able to have players find the answer to their questions directly by viewing the content from within the browser setting, rather than clicking on a link that isn't embedded to open a separate tab. An embed feature for Twitch content helps since Twitch likes to make their links super obscure in meaning and might confuse players on why those links are even on the page without context. Since broadcasters can only download clips made from their channel, The only way writers/archivists can use content from another commentator as reference is through these obscure links that might put off the immersive experience available through WorldAnvil's tools.
A Twitch content embeds feature could be helpful for several reasons. Some of these reasons include existing as access for any archive site using WorldAnvil. Another use could be embedding previous WorldAnvil questions answered on the stream, clipped, and used as shareable media to spread how the site works. Broadcasters of live campaigns could embed one-offs and broadcasts of their content to guide new viewers catching up on story events. These are a few ideas I've thought of off the top of my head, but the list could grow. Embedded highlights, clips, and VODs will add something for the broadcasters to network their worlds even further for their viewing audience on top of those who read and link the two communities together that much easier.
