Linear article navigation : if it is not defined, automatically reciprocate a new linear navigation link.   Often articles that I make which have linear navigation, such as session reports, are truly linear. i.e.    Article 1 is before Article 2 which is after Article 1.     At the moment you have to create Article 1 (and whilst you can go through the editor it article 1 to create a new article and link it straight away) then often you return later to create Article 2, link linearly so that article 1 is before it, then have to go back to edit article 1 and change the navigation settings so that Article 2 is after it.   The Suggestion is if I link Article 1 as the article before Article 2 then, unless I have specified otherwise, Article 1  will automatically update to have Article 2  as the next article

I have nothing to add to that, it's a good suggestion, sadly it has not reached any significant number of votes in support. Feel free to resuggest in the future

I definitely think this would be a very nice QoL upgrade. Having to do this for every session report becomes very tedious... and I occasionally forgot to link the articles!

Even if it were only for session reports, this would save a great deal of time!

This would be so useful. I've had several times where the navigation of my session reports missed a back or forward link because I forgot to add the other end of the connection. I agree with Snake_venom that some sort of indication would be nice.

I want this, as long as there is an indicator that this has been done, both upon initial save, and upon reading the settings of Article 1. Article 1 being the same as the example in the suggestion.
