Math with Variables

Currently you can add a variable of type number, but you can't do anything with it. I would like to see an option where I could perform simple math operations such as subtracting.
This would open up the variable system to show relative information such as when you refer in an article to an event and say "it was 4 years ago", that number will be outdated. Where if you could write "it was years ago" that number will change to 5 when we we enter 2022 and I change the variable.
