tags tagged lists sort
Currently when you insert an article list by tag, by using [tagged:tag_name], you can tell the list to be a block-type or list-type and also tell it to have a custom header. What you cannot do is tell it how to sort the list, and it will always be sorted alphabetically by the first letter of the article's title.
I, for one, would very much like the ability to tell it how to sort the list. I use the tagged lists in my world to very quickly generate master lists of characters in my world. When I make a new character's page, I can simply add the appropriate tags and they are automatically added to the master lists. Very handy! However, sorting a list of characters by their first name is not super great. This breaks up whole familes and is pretty counter-intuitive to how most people expect a list of people to be presented, which is normally sorted by last name.
My suggestion would be to add sort types to tagged list that may include: reverse alphabetical, alphabetical by last word of article title, reverse alphabetical by last word of article title, or even random.
Example use cases
As I already noted, I would use alpha by last word to sort my character master lists.
I might use reverse alpha to present a list of historical events that begin with their date so that I could have them listed as most recent first.
I might use randomly sorted lists to promote viewers to explore random articles (I would use CSS to hide nth-of-type beyond, say, 5 so the list would be 5 random articles but no more).
And I am sure the community can think of other reasons to sort their tag lists in other ways.
