Tags and tagged lists are excellent and I use them all the time, they pretty much form the backbone of my world as I'm sure they do for some of you guys. It would be nice to see some additions to the system.
1. The ability to be able to randomly generate a number of tags based off a certain tag, so you specify a term and a number and could look like this [random:tag-here|5|list|Title] or whatever makes sense in terms of coding, and that would generate a list of five randomly selected articles that are tagged 'tag-here'.
2. The ability to specify a tagged list that can use multiple tags to:
a) AND - Pick up any articles tagged with tag-a AND tag-b
b) OR - Pick up any articles tagged with tag-a OR tag-b
I won't try and insult the coders again with a suggestion :D

on 2021-04-15 00:26This would just be a matter of passing the [tag1] [and/or] [tag2] into the query on the database already being done to find the articles, so implementation should be relatively simple. I'd like to see every query option possible made available: AND, OR, XOR, NOT, etc. I'd also love to have an option to display the results in multiple columns instead of one gigantic list. That'd be hugely useful. This is also basic functionality for any tag system.

on 2021-04-09 16:41This is an excellent idea for helping people find new pages in the world without having a full list of everything in that tag. Another option could also be for articles in a category or just the entire world (public only). A nice "Random Article" section on the main page along with the "Featured" and "Recent" would be nice. To decrease server load maybe have that list generated once per day rather than every time the page loads.
