Creating a lineage spanning hundreds if not thousands of years feels daunting, as it seems I need to create tons of half-baked character articles to link one important figure from one century to a continuation of that same lineage in a latter century.  If not, however, the trees feel incomplete and lacking thoroughness.   I think a helpful fix would be to add an option under the Relationships tab in a character article where instead of linking to a full parent-character article, you could manually type in a box that doesn't lead to a full article, but rather only offers a brief title, and perhaps description that pops up upon hovering over regarding those generations contained.   For example, say I have 5 generations of a fully formed family tree created, and I wished to show the line connecting them to "Renwaila Ulbrii" (a vital historic figure some 600yrs in their past).  To link them, I could create a placeholder box(?) beneath her, titled something like "Descendants of Renwaila Ulbrii Who Migrated East" and then from there, link it to the 5 generations I've managed to flush out.   Hope that's concise enough to be clear!  Also, I super appreciate this suggestion feature  :)
