What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
A quick way to add dates of structures and organizations start and end dates being added when I create the article. It would save lots of time. If I could just get a pop up option to add to a timeline and click save.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It will make the Timelines easier to use, saving the extra steps to go to the TL and adding the date info all over again.What are other uses for this feature request?
You could use it to track imporant birthdays of rulers also. Dates when civilzations fell and all kinds of stuff like that.The Team's Response
This suggestion did not reach the required support during the voting period but looks like something that certainly worths exploring. There is a collection of other timelines related features that were already accepted. I will be looking at these as a possible bundle.

on 2021-04-21 09:06Yes. I hope something like this will be included in Chronos. Which is honestly one of the future updates I look forward to the most. What would be really cool is if the dates would automatically update themselves on the timeline, or maybe even the event can be automatically added to the timeline with a checkbox or something. So that one does not end up in a situation where the article says the empire existed from 100 to 1200, and the timeline says -10 to 350.
