This is a scene that occurs months ago when the tribe traveled to Orgimmar for supplies. It is more of a flavor scene and touches on some of our world-building. It also stars an NPC that was mentioned during the Shadowprey Salvage rp event from tonight. Enjoy!

The torch light reflected in Wal’ami’s golden orbs as she lay beside her bed mate. The
slums of Orgimmar was a familiar place for the troll, even this abandoned house with little more
than a tattered bedroll a small broken desk was familiar enough. She made a pleased sound as
a fingertip drew small circles on the bare chest of the troll beside her. Her other arm was used to
prop her up so she could look over his face, studying his features carefully. He had strong
features, almost like they were carved from stone. “Tinkin’ da debts be settled now…” She
muttered as a smile started to form on her lips.

The tribe had come to Orgimmar hoping to acquire supplies they had been in need of,
however, tonight was not a night for trade. Instead they had decided to spend it drinking in a
tavern, the Skyreaver had a different itch to scratch. Instead, she had summoned her partner
here to negotiate a trade of her own. Some time ago the Skyrunner had traded with the
Shadowprey for ores and other goods. She assumed the matter was settled, that was until
Jesak arrived at the village requesting payment for goods already paid for. She decided not to
inform Kanatu of the request, instead she summoned the male to meet her in Orgimmar to settle
the debt herself. The chieftain had enough to be concerned with after the recent Centaur
attacks.

She took note of his eyes as they were fixated on the ceiling above, there was an
emptiness to his gaze and she drew in a deep breath before releasing it in a contented sigh.
The leg she had draped over his own shifted as she pushed herself up closer to his face so she
could inspect his features closer. She let her gaze linger for a moment in silence, “Ya mind
willin’. Ya heart don’t be up for da task, poor boy.” She raised her free hand so her fingertips
could be used to pull his eyelids down to cover that empty gaze. She leaned forward and placed
a soft kiss to the troll’s forehead, which left traces of a pink colored paint. The same shade
which stained the deceased troll’s lips.

Pleased with her work, she rolled away from him and moved to her feet to retrieve her
clothes. Once she had her pants worked up over her hips and she began tightening the laces
her gaze settled on Jesak; there was a peacefulness to the moment. Once she was finished
dressing she moved over to the broken desk to look over a piece of parchment. The Skyreaver
was quite pleased with the arrangement. The Shadowprey would consider the debts satisfied,
and in exchange she would offer herself to the troll. Sadly, he was unable to collect his part of
that arrangement.

She folded the letter carefully, making sure not to smudge the writing, or the deceased’s
signature at the bottom. After she tucked it into her vest, she retrieved the long neck bottle she
had brought as an offering. There was a sense of fulfillment for her. A shady merchant tried to
take advantage of them, and the issue had been resolved. She snorted as she looked over at
him one last time, “Be tellin’ Bwonsamdi ‘bout ya greed when ya be seein’ ‘em.” A look of
distaste moved over her features before her steps carried her out into the dark streets to reunite
with her tribe. A thoughtful sound escaped her throat at the thought. She had initially come to
the Skyrunner to hide the birth of a child she didn’t want...Now though, now they were her tribe.
Wal’ami’s thoughts returned to the task at hand. She would notify the guards of the
corpse, perhaps he would be paraded through the city to his final resting place. Perhaps she
would be able to see him one last time, and take pride in her task. After that she would send
Jesak’s letter to Shadowprey village, though she couldn’t deliver it herself. She’d do best to
avoid the place for the time being in case suspicions arose from his disappearance. She would
also need to visit the cleft to retrieve a bracelet from the old orc woman. It was, afterall, the
reason she told Aja’it she couldn’t join him and the others at the inn. There was still plenty to be
done, it would be a long night for the Skyreaver.
