As a bonus action, a random, colored incense may be pulled from the bag and magically lit. With the incense lit, you gain special abilities depending on the color of the incense as you inhale its smoke. If the incense cannot be lit or if the smoke cannot be inhaled (such as having your mouth and nose covered or being submerged in water) you do not gain any of the benefits of the incense.   The possible colors and their corresponding abilities are listed on the table below. When you pull an incense from the bag, roll a d6 to determine the color pulled. Once a color has been pulled, it cannot be pulled again until the bag is refilled by smoking a black incense once all others have been used; if a previously pulled color is rolled on the d6, roll again until an available color is pulled.

1 Purple A third eye appears on your forehead and releases twelve ethereal eyes which begin to orbit your head. You gain +5 to your passive Perception and cannot be surprised or flanked while the effect lasts.
2 Yellow Your body bulges as you gain increased muscle mass. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls done with any weapon which uses Strength as its modifier.
3 Blue An ethereal, blue serpent wraps around your body as ghostly waves of water splash up from your feet. Your movement speed increases by 10 and you can take the Dash, Disengage, or Dodge action as a bonus action.
4 White Snow begins to fall around you before a hulking, ethereal wendigo appears behind your back. At the beginning of each of your turns while the effect lasts, each creature within 10ft of you must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened by the wendigo which stands behind you. The DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. The saving throw can be repeated by the creature at the end of its turn. On a successful save, the creature recognizes that the wendigo isn't a real threat and is immune from being frightened by this ability.
5 Green Ethereal wings sprout from your back as a staff shoots down from the heavens, releasing a shockwave of radiant energy as it hits the ground and vanishes. At the beginning of each of your turns while the effect lasts, roll two d4s and take the lowest number rolled. You heal that amount in hit points.
6 Red Ethereal flames spread across your body. A weapon of your choice is engulfed in flames and deals an extra 1d4 fire damage while the effect lasts.
- Black Your left eye sparkles slightly. This incense is always the last one used. When used, your bag of incenses is replenished.
All incenses burn for 1 minute before naturally going out, ending the effects of any abilities gained. The incense can be extinguished manually as a bonus action, becoming unusable once done. The effects of any abilities gained also end when you fall unconscious and can only affect one creature at a time.   Incenses can only be pulled once per long rest, or a number equal to your available rages if you are a barbarian. Pulling an incense as a barbarian uses one of your available rages and triggers the rage effect as well as the effects of the incense pulled; this can be thought of as a focus or meditative state, rather than a true rage.

A small brown bag that was once used by Vesryn Liaran before his death at the hands of the Heart of the East Forest. Within the bag lies a variety of colored incenses.
