A character who has proficiency with pan flutes may use this item as an action to change the state of crystalline switches within certain Orcish strongholds by blowing a tune when nearby one of these switches. The distance needed to be near a switch to activate it depends on the size of the switch.

A crystalline pan flute that naturally glows in the presence of demon technology. The pan flute will glow blue or red, depending on the state of the dungeon nearby.
