Pen blades seem to be unimpressive fountain pens, but they hold a secret. While holding the common version of this pen, you can use a bonus action to speak one of three command words, causing one of the following effects:

"Pen" transforms the pen blade into a normal fountain pen.
"Letter opener" transforms the pen blade into a dagger.
"Edge" transforms the pen blade into a shortsword.
"Blade" transforms the pen blade into a longsword.
"Class" transforms the pen blade into a rapier.
"Brute" transforms the pen blade into a greatsword.
"Ink" causes the pen blade to spray ink at a creature within 15 feet of you. That creature must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or become blinded from ink being sprayed in its eyes (if it has any). The creature remains blinded until it or another creature uses an action to wipe the ink from its eyes. A creature that does not have eyes or that does not use sight is immune to this effect.
