If a chanter successfully completes a chant on their turn, the healing received from Unholy Attenuation increases by 1d4 on the following chanter's turn.   Unholy Attenuation. The Drow Chanter unleashes the stored energy of the chant, healing an ally for 1d4 + 1d4 for every completed Dark Chant.   Dark Depravity. The Drow Chanter slams its staff into the floor, unleashing a flood of unholy radiance. One Drow Chanter other than themself becomes shielded, gaining the following benefits:   This ally cannot be the target of single target attacks or spells until the beginning of their next turn.

These dark-skinned elves are wearing finely embroidered robes that accentuate their features. Faintly glowing red eyes peer out from beneath their hoods, and they are equipped with iron bound staves.

Suggested Environments

Often found in the Underdark, Chanters are an essential part of the religious hierarchy of the Drow. Oftentimes, they can be found completing unholy rituals to produce spider-like creatures and Drow Arachnomancers.
