Wyvern
A Wyvern is a creature derived from Dragons. The Wyverns are lesser forms of Dragons, however, they are not extinct like their ancestors. The vile men of Scathor created Wyverns by torturing Dragons for decades by injecting them with poisons and cutting off limbs. They were created as beasts of war and dread.

Wyverns feast on all sorts of creatures, anything that delights their belly.

Civilization and Culture
History
Long ago there were Dragons inhabiting Dragonscale and when the men of Scathor heard of this, their leader sent them on many quests to collect these Dragons. Eventually they were successful in their efforts by stealing dragon eggs.
The Scathori took these eggs back to their homeland, where they hatched and grew dragons, torturing them and poisoning them all the while. It has taken decades to achieve the desired result and now there are Wyverns.
The Wyverns even faught a great battle with their parent species and defeated the last of the Dragons, making them extinct.
