The High Crypt

The High Crypt is the headquarters of the High Church and is located in North Vimerias. It is sometimes called the High Church or High Cathedral, though it is known for it’s crypt. 
The High Crypt consists of a large church building, inside the center room is encircled by tombs of the gods. Large tombstones of the gods likeness are erect before their tombs, and they watch over as important matters are seen to and as people pray. It is said that this is where the gods had fallen and now lay for everyone to witness their spirit.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of this building is so the High Church has somewhere to run their organisation and share their religion. The purpose of the center room is to show people the tombs of the gods and help them connect to them and feel their presence in their lives. This centre room is where important meetings and decisions take place and the gods are able to watch over these.

Design

The centre room has very high ceilings and is a round shape on one side which has all the tombs/tombstones of the gods following the curve. In the back of this there is the Pope’s chair, and in the centre of the room lies a large stone rectangle table and chairs for the council. 
On the opposite side of the tombstones are seats carved into the room for audiences to sit and pray.

Denizens

This is where the Pope spends most of his time when making decisions and acting on important matters. Members of the public may come here for trials or to pray.

Valuables

The stone used for the large table is beautiful enough, the Church do not need treasure.

Architecture

The walls are built with stone and are quite intricate with high ceilings.
