Tsiki Decree of Pacifism
This decree states that the entire Tsiki empire is to reform into a pacifist empire. The decree was signed by Empress Tlaj Tsiki once she became empress after her father died. She did this to close the country off from war in order to focus on medicine to prevent deaths due to illness in the future.
Purpose
The decree was written in order to protect the empire and was to be used as a last resort. Tlaj signed the decree after her father passed, grieve stricken by his passing. Her reasoning for this decree was for allowing the Skiffor druids to work on improved medicines, and helping them achieve this by removing any possibility of conflict.
Historical Details
Public Reaction
The military was originally angry at the prospect of all being unemployed. Due to this, Tlaj allowed them to keep their jobs in order to keep the peace in the empire, acting as guards throughout their respective kingdoms.
Term
The duration of the pacifism lasted as long as Tlaj Tsiki was empress. The decree was revoked when her daughter, Faenaj, become empress. Tlaj was empress for 873 years.
