Prism Hunt
In the City of Light the Prism Hunt is held every year to celebrate those who are coming of age.
The primary event is the Prism Hunt, but first the 7 districts hold their own hunt, where they've hidden a shard of their own color.
All 7 year old's in a district race to find the shard of their district color. The winning child is sent, with the shard to the center Light district. Each child place their shard at it's destined place on the Altar of Light and then compete in the Prism Hunt.
Competing against the other winners from the other districts for the honor of their district and themselves they search the district for the hidden prism.
The one who finds The Prism is said to be blessed by the Goddess and often end up being high priests of the goddess or leaders for their district. They are also given the title Light's Chosen.
It is said that the prism can only be found by the guiding light of the goddess.
When the prism is found winner places it on the Altar of Light and at the end ceremony the light of the goddess is shone through the prism, illuminating each of the districts shards in their respective color.
Each district makes a pudding in their respective color to celebrate the occasion. (Cred: Joemo)

Execution
Each district leader hides the shard of their district in their district.
All the seven year old's in that district then compete against each other to find the shard.
The winner is sent with the shard to the district of Light.
There they place their shard at the designated spot on the Altar of Light.
They then compete against the other districts winners to find the prism.
The one who finds the prism is announced winner and get's to place the prism at the altar at the closing ceremony held at sunset.

The 7 shards are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet
