Passport
A passport is a document owned by an estimated 90% of the population of the solar system. Displayed on a single sheet of e-paper, a passport can display one of three pages, one showing the history of the person's movements through the solar system, one showing a picture and signature, and one showing nationality, date of birth, and date of issue/updating. Passports must be updated every three years for children and seven for adults

Background
Passports have been in use since the early 15th century, although documents similar to them have been in use since the year 450 BCE.
History
Passports, or similar documents, sprung up across Terra independantly of each other, before being issued as a legal document worldwide at a later point in time. By the time of the World Wars, they were required across the world.
To begin with, Martian passports were issued in the name of the last Terran nation that the holder had lived in, however, when people started to apply for passports for their children who were born on, had always lived on, and, in every other way had second-generation citizenship of the nation they belonged to, nations on Mars started to issue their own seperate passports.
