Arcana

Arcana is the raw form of magic and it is able to be twisted and transformed into ways to create energy or fuel. It is very common for large cities and or Capital Cities to have street lights powered by Arcana. It takes a lot of skilled Wizards or other powerful mages or Artificer in order to harness is incredible power. Each city has something called in arcana chamber where the raw force is stored and then spread throughout the city for different purposes like waiting houses and or other projects across the city.

History & Usage

History

In artifice or whose name is lost the time was able to discover a way to harness raw Arcana In order to our various amounts of things. Such as street lamps, boats, doors, etc.

Discovery

Through many trials and errors it was found out that arcana is a viable source of power in the world instead of using oil and other non renewable resources. This Discover did lead to the death of this artificers unfortunately but that comes with the territory of a meddling with powers that are truly raw  at  nature.

Everyday use

Common uses would be for lighting materials and for transportation purposes. There is even a consideration for making a train to connect the two different continents to make it a little faster than boat.

Cultural Significance and Usage

For the elves arcana is very spiritual so they do not use it as much as the other people of the land but it does have a strong purpose for everyone. It gives wizards they were ability to use magic it is in the very soul of all of us.

Hazards

It has a slight chance to explode or become unmanageable where it can cause harm to people around it if it does lash out or explode. So they definitely need someone very skilled to handle the arcana chambers.

Environmental Impact

It has very little environmental impact unless it does explode which then could scar the land around it which would have various effects and how severe the expulsion was.
