Myth of Hillmind

In the tall mountains in the north, in uncharted lands there is the mystical lake. this lake is said to be home to a mythical sea creature that is known by the name Hillmind. Hillmind is a said to grant magical gifts to those who find the lake and answer the Hillminds riddle. to get to this lake it is said that you must journey over the frosty mountains in the north through the frozen wastes and journey into the uncharted lands to get to the mystical lake. the tale of Hillmind also says there is many challenges of strength and will. in many prophecies it mentions something like the man who received gifts from the lake, it is assumed that this refers to this mystical lake. Hillmind is believed to be a fierce sea creature with blue scales that lives in the very depths of the lake. Hillmind is said to also have green eyes. Hillmind is believed to be one of shard fell animals, monsters, and people that have some of the power from the great object that shattered the land many years ago. the ice elves first started telling the myth of Hillmind and when they were found it was spread to the elven empire.

the myth was first told through the ice elves then as the ice elves were found it spread through the elven empires and is slowly being spread to the dwarves that dwell in the south.

Variations & Mutation

some variations say that hill mind is a small normal fish and others say it is a fierce sea dragon in the north seas and that there is no lake.
