Palador's Rebels

While not actually rebels, simply called that by disdainful member of typical Palidorian society, these somewhat outcast members of Palador fight against the ideals of strict order that the entire country is built on.   These gets them into legal trouble quite often, and as a result many of them live outside of the major cities, in their own small settlements or camps out away from most of the society they rail against.   Some of them are followers or Erethean or even Quazel, while others simple believe in living free. They have some more radical members of their communities they actually seek to change the status-quo in Palador, while a large majority of them are fairly content to simply live on the fringes, rejecting the orderly ideals of Palador simply for themselves rather than seeking to fight it for everyone else.   While they have many difficulties in the country, they get by well enough on their own. Some of them have even built quite a large portion of their identities around their isolation and self-reliance, as well as their defiance of society. This may explain the often asked question of why they continue to live there, somewhat separated from the civilization they live in, rather than simply moving away to the Midlands, if not further west, where live would be easier for them.   There has been a call among some citizens, unnerved by these people they see as a possible threat to their way of life, for the Utopian Concordinate, or other enforcement groups within Palidor, to do more than they currently do, either driving them out entirely or forcing them to conform. For now, the high council hasn't deemed them threatening enough to take major official action against.
There are a few of us who want the rest of us to help them rise up, overthrow the ordered, sometimes even oppressive system. But honestly, if more people wanted to live a life different from what Palador provides, there would be more of us out here. It isn't our place to say their order isn't right for them. I just know it isn't right for me. - Lirian, Member of the Outcast society
