Filli's Painters

The following is dialect from Filli's Painters, an organization of Elves that spawned immediately after Filli became known to them.
The Goddess Filli pleasures us with knowledge and new life.   Her holy grace knows no bounds and her paintbrush knows no strife.   How can we know what the Goddess knows, her strength can't be matched.   She's granted us prey – divine prey – and which we've gladly catched.   Her sweet embrace, two silver eyes, oft times line the fine skies.   Her gaze afixed on children mixed with color, joy, and size.   Might she someday grant us yet more grand peoples to speak to?   With her brush, paint the Arengold Tree with more diverse hues.   Might you grant them mind and thought to serve as lovely comrades.   And might their talent overflow to serve you to their last.

Filli's Painters

This Elven Organization lasted from their inception at 250 PW until 2000 PW, when Elves realized how problematic their prayers had become. They are the primary inciters of Filli's creativity, and their prayers caused the creation of many races and items across the entirety of the Tree. Perhaps the most critical prayer, listed above, inspired Filli to create the Humans, the race that the Elves enslaved first. They were also responsible for placing the Dwarves and Orcs in situations where they were underprivilaged and abused. While the Painters have been disbanded, the worshippers of Filli are still scattered across the Elven Tribes of the Midtrunk and Eastern Roots. They are quick to distance themselves from the Painters, but often use similar prayers and tactics to try and get Filli to perform their bidding. The tired goddess rarely listens; the Painters have drained her goodwill. However, all races know that the Elves still hold Filli's attention, thanks to what the Painters did for her.
